Position Overview:
As the Internal IT Team Lead PL, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our internal IT team based in Warsaw, Poland. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT, hands-on experience with a variety of technologies, and a proven track record of successfully leading teams. Due to the technical nature of the office, you would have had a natural progression from a hands-on support role to a Team Lead or managerial position, not being afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty and act as a point of contact for all things Tech in Poland, supporting the local support team acting as a mentor to the team.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of IT professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Provide guidance and support to team members for their professional development.
- Ensure all Helpdesk KPIs are monitored and adhered to, improving service levels.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Utilize comprehensive hands-on IT experience to guide the team in implementing and maintaining IT systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement best practices.
3. Project Management:
- Oversee Group IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and local stakeholders to define enhancements
4. Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and optimize the company's IT infrastructure.
- Ensure the reliability and security of internal systems, networks, and servers.
5. Vendor & Asset Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors to procure IT equipment and services for the local office.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all assets are tracked and compliant.
6. Policy and Compliance:
- Enforce Global IT policies and procedures locally to ensure compliance with the rest of the Stepstone Group.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and update policies accordingly.
