The job at a glance
As a Senior AWS Platform Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and scaling the AWS infrastructure behind our inhouse LLM-based systems. These systems help jobseekers discover better-fitting jobs and recruiters find the right talent, using advanced Vector Databases and semantic search.
You’ll manage and optimize AWS accounts and infrastructure to support LLM inference, act as a strategic liaison to our central IaaS teams, and empower two business teams by managing LLM-Operations. Working closely with Data Scientists, Machine Learning, Big Data, and Software Engineers in an agile environment, you’ll help us build a future where a new job is just a click away.
In our inclusive team culture, we value ownership, mentoring, and proactive collaboration to keep improving how we work.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison to our central IaaS teams to align infrastructure and business needs.
  • Set up and administer newly created AWS accounts to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Enable two teams in our business by managing and streamlining LLM-Operations.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders, explaining cloud concepts in an accessible way.
  • Show a strong sense of ownership and proactively provide solutions before issues escalate.
  • Contribute actively to technical discussions and decision-making alongside Product Managers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate in an empowered, self-sufficient Scrum team with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement.

Your skills & qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong team player mindset, willing to learn from and support an experienced team.
  • High engagement, proactivity, and ownership.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • High proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and test automation best practices.
  • Strong experience in AWS administration, including IAM permission management.
  • Experience setting up compute, storage, and service infrastructure in AWS.
  • Experience with networking and content delivery (e.g., VPC, Route53).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Nice to have: experience supporting infrastructure for hosting LLMs, AWS-supported Vector Databases, AWS EMR, Spark, or Python.
