As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services by testing them thoroughly before release. The QA Engineer will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues, bugs or defects in our products.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and execute test cases, test plans and test scripts to ensure the quality of our products and services
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts
- Identify and report any defects, bugs or issues in our products and services
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve any issues and ensure quality standards are met
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
- Provide feedback on the usability and user experience of our products and services
- Perform manual and automated testing of web application
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
- Data analytics
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to the development team (White-box testing)
- Collaborate with the project manager to ensure that all project deadlines are met
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby is a plus
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Experience with software testing methodologies, tools and processes
- SQL query writing experience
- Experience with API testing
Travel Requirements
Travel for this position may include quarterly travel to attend internal and external meetings, however, this may vary based on business needs and opportunities.
