The Security Operations Engineer will be responsible for emphasizing the security of our applications through all the phases, development to final release into production, review, trial and implement tools that will integrate with our SDLC. You will be part of a multinational team spread over different geographical locations to support Stepstone Group IT-Security.
Responsibilities:
- Defining, communicating, and implementing security processes, practices, and solutions within the SDLC.
- Stay up to date with the security trends and propose solutions to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Running security workshops oriented to development teams.
- Participating in threat modelling exercises to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Organising security training
- Improve our SAST and DAST solutions to be proactive rather reactive.
- Coordinate with Development teams to address flaws detected through our pentest program.
- Use our internal security solutions to perform regular webapp scans.
- Akamai Web Application Firewall configuration and support
- Configuring and managing Akamai WAF and DDOS solutions to protect against web application and network attacks.
- Configuring and Managing Akamai BOT protection solutions to protect against bots.
- Collaborating with other members of the cybersecurity team to improve overall security posture.
- Identifying and troubleshooting security incidents and providing guidance for incident response.
Requirements:

Essential:
- Proven 1-2 years of experience as a SECOPS Engineer
- Understanding of SDLC with Agile Framework
- Threat Modelling
- Akamai WAF
- Ability and desire to talk to groups / run workshops.

- Infrastructure as code experience
